the first feed went great. he striked and constricted the adult mouse and then let it go. he then move it around his enclosure and finally ate it. sorry i didnt take any pictures as i didnt want to stress him. i was so happy he striked as soon as he smelled the meal. im also happy he took his first feed with me because this is my first ball python so i wasnt sure what to expect.
i will try and weight him as soon as i can get my hands on a scale. thanks aaron.

Hey! I love the spider morph. For a great scale at a great price go to Walmart or target in their food prep Isle (with the pots and pans) and pick up a food scale. They have nice big bowls big enough to hold ball pythons and are under $20.

successful switch to rats!
havent bought a scale yet, but i think he will enjoy rat pups from now on
i can actually see a belly on him vs the adult mice which you could barely notice.

first shed was a success
25.5" long. same length as my milk snake. he hesitated to eat a little while he was in the first stages of shed, but i left the rat in his enclousure while i fed my other 2 snakes and by the time i checked on him he was half way done with his meal lol rats and shed are shed. hopefully he continues to do well with me
