Haha, well, he is sweet, however once I open the enclosure door, he's darting out. Actually, all my reptiles are named after serial killers, or tyrannical leaders. So, hes actually named after Ted Bundy.

Re: 2 New Additions
Great pick up, always good to see critters taken from a potentially bad situation and go to a good home. And free makes it even more awesome.

Agreed. Although it certainly is not limited to the reptile hobby. I keep nature aquariums and it drives me nuts to see somebody leaving a pet store with a ten gallon aquarium, two baby oscars and a plecostomus. People honestly believe the fish will stay small if kept in a small aquarium. I've had people tell me the same about their snake. Then when the critters do get to big they just toss them out. I have a picture somewhere of some twenty or thirty plecostomus taken by bow fishers from a lake in Texas.

Re: 2 New Additions
Oh, I agree. I don't know much about fish, but I know it goes across the board for all animals. My wife works at the shelter and at least once a week someone brings in a big dog claiming they didn't know how big it was going to get, but it looked so cute as a puppy.
That on top of the mis-information that is out there. I was in petco buying some crickets and overheard a sales rep telling a customer that the iguana would get about a foot long, and that's it. Had to step in on that one.

Re: 2 New Additions
Nice looking burm & retic, do you plan on growing them really big?

Re: 2 New Additions
If you mean like power feed, no. I have no breeding plans, so I plan to let them grow at there natural pace. I got a really good deal on an AP T65 cage for the burm, with RHP and belly heat all ready installed, and I am going to make an 8x3x3 for the retic. My guy that was going to build the cages decided to stop responding...

Re: 2 New Additions
Beautiful! I actually inquired about the same Retic about 30 minutes after you got them! I figured it was one of those situations of buying without knowledge...She looks a lot like my female Retic.

Re: 2 New Additions
Man, I saw the craigslist ad about the these two, and called about 30 minutes after they left! The Retic is beautiful. Looks a lot like my young female Retic. Looks like you got a great inheritance!
