No, but it is certainly the most interesting of the Australian elapids.
Keepers of them say that they display a level of "intelligence" comparable to varanids.

Re: And the survey says?
Rattlesnake... any of a few different varieties. They're native (and common) around here, but I still find them to be one of the most fascinating animals out there.
Lots of very beautiful vipers out there, too. And coral snakes have always intrigued me.
But I'd never trust myself to stay "on my toes" enough to care for any venomous snakes. I'll stick to observing them in the wild. From a distance.

Re: And the survey says?
I don't think I count in this, since I keep most of the species people mentioned, lol. The one dream hot I don't currently own is the Mangshan viper. Oh my, they are stunning....I've seen a few specimens and wow, they just are incredible!!!

Re: And the survey says?
White lipped vipers are stunning to me. I also love Mangrove snakes.

Boomslang, or black Mamba.
Neither the most flashy, but both favorites of mine ... And snakes I have a great respect for.

Re: And the survey says?
King Cobra wins hands down. The presence that they carry is incredible, not to mention their intelligence. I'd love a Chinese Banded if I can get my hands on one... When the time comes I'll be making the trip to Hamm I think.
