The floor will be covered in waterproof shelving, I'll add shelves on the inside and cover it spray foam, adding a cave texture. The whole outside will be stained a dark brown and all the fixtures on the outside will be brass. The top the the cage will have inlaid wood doors with 6" square cut outs covered with mesh. I've got a giant piece of drift wood than will fill most of the bottom of the cage and then plants and other decor. My girl right now is only 3' lol. So far it's a fun project.... all of this cutting has been done with a skill saw since we don't have a table saw available. Thanks to my awesome dad it has turned out amazing none the less!
yesterday I told my dad that my biggest expense will be wood filler haha!
not a lot of progress so far but monday we will be sanding, staining and adding on the doors so i will have more photos
