sorry i should have explained my post a little better mate
a few years ago when i was planning on buying an adult female BHP,i e mailed the guy who's been my Carpet mentor since the beginning...
he told me to always raise a hatchling for myself, because if they get fed too much, from hatchling to sub adult and adult hood, then they rarely reproduce,i didn't mean power feeding or over feeding to the point of death,i took it as merely going a little over their natural requirements, would somehow affect reproduction
i took it to be very similar to buying adult Pure Diamonds,if they had been kept wrong from hatchling to adult, like they sometimes were way back in the day, there was a high chance they would drop dead on you around 5 to 8 years of age
all that said.....
if you had a trusted breeder like say Josh from MP,then by all means buy adults,as you would know they had been kept correctly their entire lives
or a knowledgeable honest breeder such as yourself mate
cheers shaun
