I wired a dimmer switch to my heat lamp so I can turn it way down so it only adds a few degrees when needed ... I think I payed 5$ from Home Depot and it's really easy to wire into any normal heat lamp

Way to go! T-stats make a world of difference. I felt so much better once I added mine. One of the most vital pieces of equipment for keeping snakes I'd say.

Yeah, I have two already, they're ok but they're analog, not digital, and can take a bit to calibrate. Can't wait to try this one out!

You will find you will set them based on readings and not what temp appears on the thermostat itself. I love the Hydrafarm. Can't beat it for the money.
