Re: Anyone have an opinion on Pittsburgh or Columbus expo

about 4 hrs away north...will be my 1st time...we thought about going down tonight and getting a hotel room, but we would rather save the money and see if we can find a deal on some nice enclosures or something to benefit the babies we have here...we have some in modified glass tanks we want to upgrade to pvc or malamine and havent had the time to build them or find the materials in the area...so either way, we get to see awesome critters and maybe get some stuff for our babies! IF i can get the hubby outta bed to go...i don't want to get there too late....

If you see something you like, buy it THEN don't wait! I've made that mistake and what I wanted was gone when I came back. I think it has to do with the massive amount of people in a relatively small building.

Re: Anyone have an opinion on Pittsburgh or Columbus expo

that happened at our last expo...hubby wanted something and we went back and it was gone...we chalked it up to "it wasn't meant for us"...the most we may pick up may be another T...have a few we have researched and discussed on T forums, so looking for a possible deal on one of those, but if not, oh well..I just want to get out of the house...I started a 3rd shift job this week, so working 5 days a week is strange to me after years of working continuous 12 hr shifts...I am used to days off...I want to go SOMEWHERE! LOL

Re: Anyone have an opinion on Pittsburgh or Columbus expo

I've never really paid attention to Ts, but I think they're cute! I'm going to be looking at the KSBs and the furries- They had mallard ducks last time I wanted them so badly! One vendor has axolotl- I want so badly but I'm not allowed to have aquariums in my apartment :/

we have T's, they are awesome! I used to be an arachnophobe...but now I think they are awesome! I never want any aggressive types, but the more docile beginner colorful ones are so amazing!

Re: Anyone have an opinion on Pittsburgh or Columbus expo

I like to look at them, but I'm far too scared to hold one. I'd definitely own one as long as I didn't have to touch it or clean out the enclosure!

Re: Anyone have an opinion on Pittsburgh or Columbus expo

I was the same way...I ended up being the 1st one in our house to hold one...I HAD to conquer my fear...now I am not afraid of them...respectful, but not afraid...my young rosehair is moody...one day she wants out to walk all over you, the next she is in "attack mode" at the first sign of movement...my adult is just totally chill...she goes with the flow...if i wanna hold her she just walks onto me, otherwise I just let her move to the other side as I clean her water dish, etc...I don't care if I hold them...T's dont LIKE to be held...so I am cool with any of them that allow me to clean and change water without biting or escaping...lol
