Hows the setup temp / humidity wise? Basking spot? What are you offering for food items? She does look thin to me as well, and Its strange that she did not attempt to bite you lol

Warm side is in the high 80s with. Basking spot of 93 and the cool side/area is in the mid 70s. Humidity is hovering around 60-70%

You might have to force feed. I know a friend tried to wait out her WC, and it starved itself to death :-/

I'm considering taking it back to the reptile store. I just found a crested gecko breeder who has a few tokay eggs incubating and a hatchling available right now.

So, I'm almost certain he's not going to make it. He's just getting thinner and thinner each day. He's also incredibly slow and lethargic despite how warm and humid his enclosure is. I thought he was a gonner earlier so I picked him up and he very lightly resisted and lightly bit me (which caused me an awful allergic reaction on my skin...) but settled almost instantly.... I feel like a Tokay wouldn't give up so easily.

I can see all his bones and his eyes are sunken in.

I'm bummed. Should I wait it out or just return him to the reptile store?

He looks horrible. Extremely emaciated :-/ I'd ask for your money back.

Yikes ): Have you tried force feeding? Get some highfat content worms (silk worms, maybe?). Or return him, where he will certainly die.

The store I got him from simply ordered him in for me because they don't usually carry them. They're pretty well versed in gecko care so their care wouldn't be any different than mine :/ That said, I still don't know what to do. I think I'm going to wait it out.

While he had his mouth open, I dropped a cricket in but he spat it out. I tried again and it went far enough that he had to swallow it. He wouldn't open his mouth anymore after and I didn't want to keep stressing him out.

Edit: He has plenty of foliage and hiding spots but I think I'm going to cover all the walls of the tank with black poster/bristol board to create more security. I'll pick up some silk worms tomorrow as well.

Feed him some hatchling lizards, or pinkies/fuzzies. (Assuming he will eat, that is what you should aim to feed atm, he needs to gain weight).

Tokays are a hardy species, If hes gotten to this level and refuses meals / doesn't fight you, I'm thinking he is wild caught. I know 3 or 4 people who leave tokays loose in the herp room and don't pay any attention to them, only surviving on loose crickets and they flourish. If they are capable of caring for him, get your money back. He may need subcutaneous fluids as well...

Have you tried leaving food in a bowl? My tokay is a great bowl feeder and if the gecko does get a site of the food there is no way it can run off.

If he dies in your care then you are unlikely to get any recompense, take him back now and ask for another or your money back

He had a bowl of worms and crickets (which escaped) and a back up just-in-case bowl of CGD but he has eaten from either of them. They're just water bowls now. The crickets that escaped still wander the enclosure and enjoy their freedom.

I would try with other food sources but he shows absolutely no interest in anything. He doesn't even glance in food's direction.

I'm going to contact the store today and see what they say/recommend I do.
