I've been looking at waterproof LED strips. I'm not sure what to go with at this point still. There seems to be quite a few options. I'll let you guys know once I've decided what I'm going to use.
Sorry the updates have been slow, but it's been so cold in the garage lately I can't really work on the cage. I still need to varnish it and put the door together/on. And lay the Linoleum and silicone the inside edges. It's been killing me that is not done yet =/. The weather is supposed to be warming up here soon so hopefully I can make some progress.

Re: DIY Wooden Enclosure 48"x24"x18"
I built one very similar in design, linoleum floor, silicone around to seal the edges, drop-down door framed flush using bolt locks on the right and left side of the door, with a window lock in the center. I put in a ceramic heat emitter with an 18 inch under cabinet florescent light, it was $12, compared to an expensive LED system, it looks nice and bright in there. I plan on building 3 all together at 36x20x20 to stack on top each other.

Re: DIY Wooden Enclosure 48"x24"x18"
Finally! A good update!
I finished varnishing, laid the vinyl flooring, put the door together, hinges and latches, mounted the RHP, and done! Ley me know what you think! Feel free to ask any questions if you're curious.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures.
Still got more to build, but here's a finished one.

The Varnish needs to cure longer before I put anyone into it. Since I used Spar Varnish the fumes while it's fully curing could be harmful. I'll be waiting a couple weeks then I run the heart in it for another week. Then once I can't detect the smell of the Varnish I will be satisfied with its safety.
Thanks for the comments everyone! One I get it setup with decor, etc. I will share more pictures .
