Re: On cloud nine.
Thanks everybody.
Holy crap. I just seen the coolest thing. The male Black blood was lining up with the smaller Chrome headed female and i could see his spurts. He was moving them around almost like little fingers filling around for hers. I never realize just how much control they had over their spurts. I try to video tape it but as soon as i open the cage door he stopped. So far he locked up with both three time. Plus i finally starting to see some interest in each other from my BRB's. The Savu have also had at least one more confirmed lock up.
On a side note the hypo boa we put with my yellow Anaconda is so big that all he done is hide from her.

Re: On cloud nine.
Woo Hoo the Dumerli's were finally locked up these morning. Along with the Jag and Coastal, Savu's. The Blacks are back at it after the male took at 24 hour break.
My anaconda is so scared of the hypo that he wouldn't come out of the water bowl. So i took it out. So last night i caught him actually checking her out. So hopefully we might get some Boacondas. Plus Paul's deal for a female bredli fell through so he put he male Bredli with his female Black Blood and if he gets babies he kicking a couple my way. Now that would be a hybrid i really love to see.

Re: On cloud nine.
Congrats man, put me down for a female Savu!
I always thought the Coastal x Black Blood was a stunning hybrid. Must be very confused snake though, never sure if it should be in the trees or on the ground.

Thanks! I should be getting some babies my new 1.1 Savu's are a proven pair. She took last year off and the year before laid 11 eggs. 10 health and one slug so i am hoping she can do it again this year.
Got my first incubator the other day. Been putting in a lot of extra hours at work and plan on getting two more my next check.

Re: On cloud nine.
Well i have had a couple set backs. My buddy Hypo died turns out she had a bad RI but never showed any signs.
Then my 8 + foot 16lbs female Jungle is a male. When i bought (her) him he was sold to me as a female. Well with babies on the way hopefully i got a probe kit and learn how to probe. After no action with my big Jungle and Diamond x Jungle i decided to probe my big Jungle just to practice. Was shocked as hell to say the least when the probe went back 10 scales. So now i only have one pair of Carpets together breeding.
On a side note i always thought i had a monster of a female Jungle Carpet but instead a have a truly monstrous male Jungle Carpet. 8.4 foot and over 16lbs. That just unheard of as far as i know. Plus he is about to turn 12 years old. Just go to show what slow growing them can do.

Yeah started calling him Lex.
On a good note i am pretty sure one if not both female Blacks are knocked up. Plus the female Savu is getting fatter. So we'll wait and see.

Thanks!
Just had my buddy Paul over here and he checked all the females. Looks like the dark headed Black female is knocked up. The Chrome head was locked up with the male so he couldn't check her. Coastal and Savu looks like nothing going on yet. Which i am surprised because the Jag and Coastal are going at it at least every other day. And have been for almost two months now.
Earlier i probed my male Argentine (just to be sure) and it probe a female. So i had Paul double check and sure enough i have two female Argentine's Boas. So the guy i got my male Argentine boa and 1.1 Black Blood actual sold me all females. Yeah the females cost more but damn when i got two males for breeding and they turn out to be females that kind of sucks. For my first year breeding it's definitely been interesting and full of twist.

Re: On cloud nine.
Finally got some eggs. My big Black Blood laid 15 healthy eggs no slugs and the other Black will be laying any day.
On a down side my smaller Savu chocked to death throwing up a rat. I think it my have been to big for him.
