Very sorry to hear it...I know how hard it is because I went through the same thing back in December with the cat I grew up with. She was 19 soon to be 20 when we finally couldn't watch her suffering anymore.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. You did a wonderful thing adopting an older dog. You made the last year of his life wonderful I'm sure. You should be very proud.
