Re: food break
I'm kinda stumped about this no feeding situation. Hannibal Caesar hasn't eaten in 6 weeks but hasn't lost any weight either. Do we just wait them out? Keep offering and wasting food? I've tried everything to get him to eat. Raised his temps, increased his light cycle, tried scenting the mouse. My last resort is to try a live hopper but I'm not exactly sure when I should go this route.

yeah haha I love her she was mad at me cause I kept dangling the mouse in her face lol do you think Augustus might be up for a winter break? I tried feeding Ammit her second mouse(she normally eats two) and she didn't take it. Now I think she is up for break for good.

thats exactly where im at with my milk. i let it go to 90 for a few days after it eats. when you let the mice thaw out (if eating frozen) do you have to feed it warm? sometimes it takes about 10 mins before he eats it and by then the food is cold (room temp) lol that should be ok right?

Yeah that's fine. I thaw mine in warm water. All my snakes normally eat as soon right away. I do make them follow the tongs with mouse until they grab it.
