Just in the interest of the wellbeing of the snake-
You've done the research on the space, food, heating, humidity, etc requirements of the snake, and how to achieve those? And you're going to have an appropriate home set up, pre warmed and ready before you get the snake?
As a side note- I recommend feeding rats for the snake's lifetime. They're meatier, heavier boned, and just generally a more substantial meal. Start with very small rats and work your way up as the thickness of the snake increases over time. Frozen thawed rats though. Try to avoid live food as it can injure your snake by biting it, if the snake grabs the prey wrong.
