I love that water snake's poses. She almost looks like she's saying "Come at me bro." lol
My little guy is starting to perk up, and he seems to be slowly getting used to me. If he sees me, when he's being brave, he follows me up and down his tank. XD I turned off the light tonight, and a little later I shone my cell phone in his tank to see what he was doing. He had gone into hiding, but as soon as he saw the cell phone's light, he came right up to it, all excited. He's pretty silly.

Garters certainly have cute little curious personalities. It's one of the best parts about owning them I may look into more in the future.

So Cupcake arrived today and great news! the name fits!! I have no idea why she's considered aggressive by them... Her owner went to pick her up, and wouldn't even put her hand in the tub lol I just reached in and grabbed her and she was fine with it. She was a bit jumpy for the first few minutes I held her, but then she started to calm down and was actually very curious and friendly. Her eyes are white and her skin is very very saggy so I raised the humidity substantially and left her alone. She has.a blanket over her enclosure so she isn't subjected to any extra stress from seeing people and my dogs. Here's a picture from when I first brought her home!
Puppy likes the new snakey He is scared of all my other snakes, but actually seems to like Cupcake.
