Re: Ball + carpet in same terrarium

Yeah judging by the size of those teeth it could puncture through at least half of my forearm(both sets combined)

As a stated i am a weird guy ^^
well i am just looking for a snake that is a little more energetic and not SOO tame as mine is.
i'll like to have both a tame snake and a snake that is a little more a challenge to handle.

Mikoh4792:
ohh myyyy GOOOOD. That is perfect. XD
Well i was also looking at a Tree Python. It's not now that i want an extra snake, but in the near future.
So i have time to think about which one it should be.

Re: Ball + carpet in same terrarium

You will not like green tree pythons. They are not as energetic as ball pythons and them being aggressive snakes as a whole is a myth. Maybe biaks are an exception but its more to do with the individual snake and wild caught vs Cbb.

A good alternative to green tree pythons are carpet pythons. Active, more energy and can be quite nippy as babies(or so I've heard, I've never come across a nippy baby). And because they are both Morelia they look very similar except for color/patterning.

Just a comparison to show the similarity

Re: Ball + carpet in same terrarium

yeah i was originally thinking about a carpet python. my thread was originally about putting a ball and a carpet together in the same tank. ít's properly gonna be a carpet if Tree pythons are not energetic.
Love the yellow and black color on that snake.

I searched "neglected retic" and didn't find what you are referring to.
can you send a link?
Thanks
My Ball is "puppy dog tame", too.
And he's hissed, and bitten me.
