From the research I've done in the past I was under the impression that 69F was too cold. I'm being honest when I say that today is the first time I'm reading that temperatures around 70F are appropriate for a corn outside of winter.

I was just pointing out it would be best to speak from your own experience and not others. In this case the others were not accurate.

Got it. All this time I've been worrying about the house getting too cold for my corn if it got below 75F.

Last time I checked we have corn snakes native to new england do we not? It gets below 69 degrees at night here in the summer pretty frequently....nevermind the winter.

Edit: to answer my own question after googling it, I guess we don't have cornsnakes. Oh well

U need to controle eny heat in ir out of your cage the heat gets in the cage regardless of were u put it so get a thermostat for all your heating devices for the safty of your little guy
