Here's a post on another forum I go on taken from a reptile magazine showing what can happen when a snake comes into contact with sticky tape




Everything is OK to do until it goes wrong, for me just not worth the risk.

Seen a snake skin it's self alive after get stuck to the duct tape use to hold its lid down. Poor thing had to be put down. that why i never use or even allow tape in my snake room.
