You want something big and impressive that can be a bit of a hand full at times. You want a Blood Python. The plus is even full grow you should be able to handle on your own. At three years old my male Black Blood is 5 feet and over 13 lbs. He as big around as my calf. Reds get bigger than Blacks, but Blacks tend to be more laid back.
