I did for over 2 weeks nearly 3. No mites, respiratory issues,IBD,BOID,Scale rot or any other visual ailments. He was a singular pet in a clean terrarium with no other animals in the house. Why?

A three week quarantine is not a quarantine, three months minimum.

So what you're saying is you know how to properly take care of your animals but you choose not to do it properly? Impressive.

It kinda sounds like you do need a lesson as you obviously dont know how to quarantine effectively.

Re: What is this Boa's Morph????? Help!!!!!!!

Boid Inclusion Body Disease (IBD, BOID), a 100% fatal and extremely contagious retrovirus that attacks boas, pythons, and some vipers and colubrids can take months to appear. For any new snake of boid descent (boa or python) a MINIMUM 3-4 month quarantine should be implemented. If any signs of illness or parasites show up the snake should remain in quarantine until 3-5 months after all signs of a problem have cleared up.
Even that isn't a 100% guarantee...most reputable breeders and keepers with the space will use a 6-12 month quarantine for new boas because of the length of time it can take for problems to appear. A 2-week quarantine is not even close to sufficient....

So, you didn't know how to quarantine properly. You have no idea of the genetics of the snake you just bought....and you want to argue with us about you know what you're doing? IMHO you need to do a LOT more research and calm down; we're just trying to help you avoid being victim to the same mistakes we all made when we were new.

And yes, that looks like a salmon hypo to me.

Ya know what forget it,I just talked to Mark Scott and Jeremy Stone I figured out its genetics Its a Coral Line Triple het. Moonglow with high expressions of hypo. It came from Mark Scott of East River Constrictors.Hes a quality snake. The other two are directly from Frank Martin...Criticize me all you want I've been doing this for 13 years Longer than some of those on this forum I'm no idiot. And no Willow I Didn't buy a snake without knowing its genetics, I don't do that he was a rescue pet that was dropped of by a friend who was moving away whom didn't remember what Mark Scott said about his genetics. Wasn't trying to come off mean but being that I didn't want my thread derailed I didn't want this to become a quarantine discussion...and let me clarify....I've had all these animals from the beginning of this year, This was the first time they came in contact with each other. I kept he Triple het. moonglow in a separate room for 3 weeks when i first go him them kept him in my reptile room away from the other snakes till now...There all healthy, fit, alert, active and aggressive feeders....Hence why I didn't want a lesson in Quarantining. It's sad I'm both a a member and an administrator of many Forums that use Vbulletin and this is the first that I've been a member of where everyone gangs up and attacks you at once when just asking a question...Disgraceful...Grow up people.

Although I sometimes don't agree with certain tactics employed, it is up to the herp community to police ourselves. Proper quarantine protocol is important in our hobby so that we don't unknowingly spread disease, parasites, etc to other collections. If a 2-3 week quarantine is your idea of proper protocol you obviously haven't been paying attention for the last 13 years and should understand why everyone is pointing it out to you. I personally would never buy from nor sell to anyone that doesn't have sound quarantine practices in place with their collection. It's just too risky and I have too much money tied up in it to take chances. I've seen whole collections perish because they were built too fast and had no quarantine protocol in place. It's not fun to see people go through that type of avoidable tragedy. It's not something to get riled up about, just a mistake that folks are trying to point out in hopes that it gets fixed.

Re: What is this Boa's Morph????? Help!!!!!!!

Ok, I guess I came across a bit harsh in my post, but I do think the underlying message is important enough to warrant some firmness. Proper quarantine for snakes means several months in a separate room, with you only visiting that snake last in a day, and not going back into your main room unless you've changed/showered/etc. It's a huge pain in the butt, but it's vital to protecting your animals.

I did not realize this snake is a rescue- that would explain some uncertainty about his genetics. I thought the OP had simply bought him not knowing, which would indicate that the snake came from a less-than-scrupulous seller (i.e. pet store, Craigslist). I should have read more carefully but I admit I just skimmed and saw that the snake had not been properly quarantined and it tweaked me out.

I've seen friends I know and care about lose dozens of animals because they weren't careful with quarantining. A simple RI can take weeks to develop and then wipe out multiple animals, depending on the bacteria responsible and what antibiotics the keeper has access to. More insidious issues like viruses can take months to years to develop to a noticeable point, and they are not treatable. If a case of IBD appears, an entire collection has to be put on lock-down for at least a year and it can destroy someone's reputation forever, even if it was an animal they bought that brought it in.

I understand that this thread was not originally about quarantining practices, but the topic came up and since it's something I feel very strongly about I got a bit upset seeing that the OP only quarantined for 3 weeks. That just is not enough for any snake, let alone a boa! Why take a shortcut that could cost lives and countless expenses fixing it later?

In short, I apologize for losing my temper on the OP. However, quarantine is CRUCIAL to a collection, and knowing how to go about maintaining proper quarantine protocols and lengths is a very important skill for anyone that keeps more than one snake to learn.
