Re: march photo discussion thread

'Gridiron' came about around the same time as rugby I think; as a result of when they first started the whole 'no hands' rule in football (that wasn't always the case). However, the strict namby pamby European football rules weren't popular over here, so I guess football as a name for gridiron just made sense. Most of our sports in North America don't allow for people falling on the ground whinging whenever anyone gets within a 'foot' of us either

Sorry I just couldn't resist. I used to live next to Arsenal stadium and had to argue for hours about how CFL was more interesting.

Playing Soccer is way more fun then North American Football. Most people in soccer aren't wearing 20+lbs of equipment to protect them from contact either, not to mention the need for agility, not over all bulk. Contact in soccer no matter what hurts way more then contact in football. Rugby is far more respectable sport then football in my opinion, but my heart lies with Soccer. K I'll shut up now.

Rugby is just a game for men with odd shaped balls

Re: march photo discussion thread

Depending on the image hosting server you should be able to do it there, or you can do it on your computer and just re-upload it.
