Just got a bigger hide and a new water bowl (even though it's smaller..) for Valentine! Her old hide was just too small for her (even though it's huge..) and the water bowl I had was a handmedown from Romeo's old owner. The bowl was huge, but it was also covered in green gunk. Finally threw that nasty thing away! Val now has a clean ceramic bowl. While not large enough for her to soak in, it's clean and she is currently slinking all over and around it.
I'm pretty sure I just saw her take a little drink from it too <3
Romeo is hiding under her own hide and digesting. Greedy little snake ate a rat last night, and she'd eaten a week ago! The rat was f/t, intended for Valentine but big girl just doesn't seem interested lately. Romeo however, as soon as I came into the room with the kill-box and rat, could NOT move fast enough in her tank, and when Val failed to eat i offered it to Romy and she took it.
Val is now investigating her new log hide.. it's definitely big enough for her >XD
(finger is the side of this one, eh hehe... oops.)
