Wow, I totally missed this. Yeah the Scrubbies were mental. But a lot of fun! It took a good 15 minutes of handling till they Maybe were calm enough to safely handle I was bit on the the tip of my nose once and nailed twice in quick succession in the face. (separate incident. ) As well as my wife and I being on the receiving end of several hand and arm tags. In the end, it was us or them, and I had to give them up.

Re: The "Bite Club" thread
Well with Minnie and Cici both being blue, and I in a picture-taking mood, I turn to Andi. She wasn't happy about that idea.

I had a Burmese mistake my hand for food. Bit and wrapped it took over 15 minutes to get him to release. He was trying he best to squeeze the life out of my arm. He left me with 14 teeth broken off in my hand and temporary nerve damage. My hand look like it was slammed in a car door.

Re: The "Bite Club" thread
Bella got me good today, my dwarf albino lav retic. slid the cage glass open and she came out and flew across to the side and grabbed my wrist, she let go right away, but her teeth got caught up in my skin and ripped it a bit as she struggled side to side to get them unstuck. she was fine after she realized i was not lunch, and retreated back to her cage. I cleaned myself and the floor up, i took her out, cleaned her cage , and let her explore for 15-20 min before putting he away.

Re: The "Bite Club" thread
not as bad as it looks really, im always on high alert when i open her cage, because she had a crazy feeding responce, but the most docile disposition once she know its not food time. so I. at least was not taken off guard, but shes too fast, she closed the 3 foot gap or so in less than a sec, if that. the cuts are so sharp they bleed alot but heal real fast. she did bruse and swell up the under side of my wrist, can see it a bit here. she is 10.5 feet now so it could have been alot worse, if she didnt realize upon impact i was not food and get off me herself, i really didnt need to do anything,I just held her body with the other hand so she would not fall, other than that she let go and slithered back into her cage asap. my dad was standing their to take a pic of her for you all, so all the blood you see was in about 15 sec, the rest was in the sink, my dad unfortunatly didnt get any of the bite, that would have been sweet LOL ill post pics of her and me after i cleaned up and got her back out of her cage in a sec, on a second thread.
