Re: Savannah Monitor enclosure build (pics)
Looks great! Love the leaf litter. Have you gotten some little creepy crawlies to put in there? I would really recommend getting them in there even before the monitor. Some isopods, springtails and African earthworms will be great for the enclosure.
Love all the logs too, really nice job.

Hi, it`s great to finally see a monitor in the monitor enclosure! Do you have any idea how old he/she is?

Very nice! If I were you though, I'd take that thermometer out of there before he decides it looks like lunch.

Re: Savannah Monitor enclosure build (pics)
Congrats on getting the monitor finally! That was a lot of work to get to that point (hmmmm perhaps Solomon's Temple is an appropriate name ), now you get to watch it all pay off for you and Solomon.

Re: Savannah Monitor enclosure build (pics)
great build diary, enclosure looks wikid, nice one!
a note about the platform and the lights keeping it dry - humidity inside should spike once the lights go off, 80%+, so do be ready with a new one thats treated, i think you will need it sooner than u might realize
Great looking monitor too! where did you find an adult? hope he's enjoying his new home
thanks for keepin this thread upto date, enjoyed readin thru!
