They're absolutely fantastic adorable little critters! I love Antaresia species, and think they are largely underappreciated in this hobby. I want dibs on babies if they breed successfully!!

Re: Let the regret begin.

Thanks everyone , they are a virgin pair so Im hoping for the best. My buddies house burnt to the ground and hes staying here and hijacked my computer , Ill try to update some more in a bit. They come right up to you, like little pocket carpet pythons. And the skin is VERY smooth and soft

Re: Let the regret begin.

They *are* in tubs for now. When I put them in permanent enclosures its going to be on aquarium gravel instead of aspen and going to put a basking spot as I was told they will bask out in the open, and are very active little buggers.

I wish... (well not about getting tagged). The wife says no to hots otherwise I would have Collettes or Death adders. I'll have to settle for other free stuff... (not poaching them by the way, free by means of friends)

Re: Let the regret begin.

Free is always my favorite type of snake. Dunno if you can tell by the last pic, but they are really brightening up into some awesome reds after they got warmed up and settled in. (It wasn't cold here, about 75 all morning which is great, but 24 hours in a box is pretty stressful)

Did you see the albino red belly black snakes? Any idea where those came from. Simply stunning!
