Re: Let the regret begin.
Yeah.. last time I shook a tree something rough fell out. Might not be so good... so this time I'll lift some rocks, you never know when you get lucky and have something crawl out.

Re: Let the regret begin.
Yeah.. I'm pretty sure I can lift some rocks and have a couple of ants crawl out they have some real nice ones around the Weatbelt area. Just a matter of picking the buggers up. They're free around here if you know which rocks to lift.

Re: Let the regret begin.
All this talk of getting new snake has got me jealous. I just had to pass on a SD Retic for $350.00 and a Male Woma Python for $150.00. I spent the money i was saving for some new snakes on a new(used) toy. Oh well some day.

Careful how you lift those rocks...you don't want to get tagged by a tiger or eastern brown...

Re: Let the regret begin.
Yes, They are Antaresia perthensis aka anthill aka perth aka pygmy pythons aka smallest python species in the world.
Here are the horrible pics I took, with no lightning and the flash was giving them a weird color. I'll get better ones once they settle. They were VERY VERY curious, heads popping out of the bag to see whats up, googly eyes, and refusing to get off my hand to get in the tubs.
These are full grown adult 1.1 virgin pair. Its hard to see from the pics, but the brick red and patterning really reminds me alot of the rainbow boas.
