Lightbulb Python on Fleece Blanket

Hi.

I just saw this video, like many of you, which went viral recently.

https://youtu.be/GHSD8EW0gNo

I am very intrigued, and would like you guys to shed some light on the matter.

If anyone has facts as to why this works or actually doesn't with every snake.

Maybe do some experiments, slow motion tests, etc.

Could be a good safety method.

Re: Python on Fleece Blanket

I'm guessing because the fleece blanket it sort of slippery and doesn't provide much traction.

Re: Python on Fleece Blanket

that is crazy but my mac does the exact same thing when i put him on one certain bedspread in our house. he never does it anywhere else! i actually thought it was some kind of mating thing and maybe the bedspread felt like a girl snake. who knows?
