Lightbulb Indigo information

So I have recently fallen in love with the Eastern Indigo snake species and I'm heart broken that they are almost extinct in the wild. Some day (way down the line) I hope to work with and even have one of these majestic creatures for myself. But before that happens I need more experience and to do a lot of research. My large collection of herps at the moment will help the the XP. BUT I still want to learn as much as possible about these wonderful snakes. Are there any books, articles, documentaries, or anything along those lines that anyone can recommend for me?

Re: Indigo information

There is a member here who is raising one. If you search in the colubrid threads for 'eastern indigo' there are excellent photos and descriptions of the snake's behavior, diet, and development under his care.

Re: Indigo information

I have also been interested in these guys as well. I did some digging a while back and I found a breeder. His site says he will even help with the necessary permits.

Re: Indigo information

There used to be a great website/forum for Indigos and other Drymarchons called Indigos Forever. It is gone now unless you use the Internet Archive wayback machine:
