Um hey there...

Just came here looking for advice on what to do if a snake has fallen off your shoulder because I'm worried about him. I'm a regular person, not a spammer. Although I did try to post a thread at first, I don't think it worked and I tried again... if it went through twice that was not on purpose and I apologize.

I just became a snake owner on March 1st so I'm pretty new to everything. My baby is an apricot pueblan milksnake about 3 yrs old and he's wonderful<3 I named him Jormun after Jormungand, the Midgard serpant, in Norse mythology.

I don't really have much else to say I think...
So yeah.

Re: Um hey there...

Welcome to the forum. As far as the little guys fall goes it shouldnt be a cause for concern. They can handle a bit of a fall with no worries. once you can post some pictures. We all love pics

Re: Um hey there...

Welcome and best wishes Frost. Your snake should be on if it was just a minor fall. Is he acting normally? Do you see any bruising or swelling? Post pics when you can.

Re: Um hey there...

This happens, I did this with my python too, dropped him on the tiles and I was so upset but hey he was ok and rather forgiving actually... we kept going and he got right back up there again the next day, had another cuddle and we were both ok.. and survived the experience, we haven't looked back...

Welcome to the forums! These animals are like shock absorbers as long as you don't throw them to the floor. IMO. They have quite a bit of muscle tissue. Don't worry.
