San Francisco Garter snake

Anyone know a site where i can order one?

I'm thinking I'll get one of these beauties for my fiance for his birthday.

It wont be for a while (8 months)

I can't seem to find any of them for sale. Is there a reason for this?

Also, how much would a snake like this go for?

They are an endangered species and illegal to own in the USA.

What part of illegal is confusing? Conserve and educate so the species as a whole can benefit, not so that you can have something pretty in your living room. There are plenty of other, very stunning garters that are legal to own.

Comments like this can reflect poorly on the rest of us in the hobby who do follow the laws and regulations.

Re: San Francisco Garter snake

Garters are awesome to keep, mine are always out and active! They always show interest in things moving around them, especially when they spot our cat lol
