Ball with a broken jaw?

So I I walked by my snakes tank to find that it got its head stuck between the cover on the top and the rim of the tank. So I quickly ran over and got its head out. I dont think it was there for long because it would have probably suffocated. So I checked and its jaw is in an awkward position. On the right side it kinda caves in. What should I do? Will it heal by itself

Re: Ball with a broken jaw?

pictures will help.
You also need to figure out how to fix your enclosure so this wont happen again.

snakes bones are surprisingly flexible, it could re-align on its own if its not very badly injured.

Re: Ball with a broken jaw?

it could be broken (tho i have not seen a snake with a broken jaw) it is more likely to be out of place since they are so flexible, maybe he got a tooth stuck there is making him look like that

Re: Ball with a broken jaw?

Pics would be good...

Sometimes the jaw will go back when the snake yawns or stretches his mouth. Just keep an eye and if it doesn't change then a vet visit would be recommended.
