My Baby BRB Is Going To Shed
My baby is going to shed,
Can't wait to see how brighter it will be !
Should I bathe it to help the shedding or just let nature take its course? Just an observation ..

You humidity should be much higher. I have my baby brbs at 90-95 humidity. Perfect sheds everytime. These animals are high humidity. Do you offer a moist hide?

Yeah I know I just got a heat pad in the mail today literally like 2hrs ago I'm just waiting, yes I do have one .. but I kinda thing the humidity gauge isn't reading correct but then when I test it it seems to be right so I'm a lil iffy on it ..

Did you just spray the tank when you took the picture? Looking at the condensation on the sides i would guess at the humidity being 80%+, tho if you just sprayed it then it could be real low......
In terms of soaking snakes for removing shed - if you have to then the husbandry is wrong

Nope I use the repti-fogger ..
I'll show the humidity gauge I got, don't think its quite accurate

if the temp if off the humidity is probably off too.. you should get a digital humidity gauge as well.

I think our local experts covered it pretty well, but to summarize: humidity is crucial for this species, and should be above 90% for a baby.
Your keys to this will be a large flat water bowl (to maximize surface area and therefore evaporation), ideally placed partly over the heat (to boost that rate); a moisture-retaining substrate, which you can spray every few days if needed; a moist humid moss hide; and limiting air exchange with the outside room.
The idea of upgrading your equipment to digitial is a good one.

Thanks I pretty much have all that & the gauge I have is off so I'm waiting on my new digital in the mail
Plus I put em in a smaller encloser & I think he likes it quite well !
