its going to be for both actually. Its easier to do them both as the vet is over a 40 min drive out of town. Totally worth it though, id drive 4 hours if i had to

I am so happy for you and your snake you really are a star for the time, effort and commitment you showed your snake.

Yea. I still look at her and just feel awful. My animals are family. They are loved and cared for like family should be. I feel bad because I feel like I allowed this to happen. If I had known they used pyrethrin like that I would have avoided them like the plague.

Don't beat yourself up. Not your fault at all but you need to let people know this happened so others do not suffer your fate. You need to hold them responsible for it in some way.

I made a post on craigslist and tell anyone I come in contact with. I notified our local reptile shop and told them whats up so they will also get the word out. I am in the process of writing to the aspca and humane society here. There are also several reptile places as well as the arizona herp association i will be contacting. I will not be quiet. I have spent HOURS crying over writing because every time I watch the first video of her I cry. And I just cant stop. I feel so awful for her and I know she is on the mend but I just cant stop that nagging horrible feeling of helplessness.

I can only do so much ya know? Vet check up tomorrow though. He is going to take some pictures of her scales as my web cam wont pick up the detail but it will show where some sores cropped up. They were like blisters but started as a rash. They are where her skin actually came in contact with the liquid form which was in their water bowl.

I am wondering if its just me but can you from the video tell she is getting better? I have a nagging feeling its just me seeing her better and that she might not actually be any different, its just that i want so bad for her to be better my view is skewed.

Did the pet store at least pay for your vet bills?

And no. They actually told me to never come back. Good for them I guess because I never will. Their rep is getting ruined as we speak. The person who used to work there has sent out mass emails to people who are on the mailing list for a local reptile society as well.

Make sure to post your story on faunaclassifieds, that's terrible of them.

You should have him attach the video of your boa.
