Baby's First Handling

My blue sided ribbon gave birth to this little baby 29 days ago.
I figured it's grown enough to start getting him used to me.

Nah, but this is the only one left. Her litter was pretty small though, 6.
I bought her in her last two or three weeks of pregnancy from a rep-con.
She was heavily stressed during her pregnancy, getting put on show tables and transported around show to show. I figure that was the cause, but if y'all have any alternatives I'd be interested in hearing them.

Sounds right... They are practically all wild caught, so gravid snakes are commonly purchased this way.

He is awesome. Ribbon snakes are completely over looked even by people who keep garter snakes.
Did the other ones die? That sucks if they did i would of bought a couple.

Yeah, sadly. Pretty quickly after they were born, too. I'm just glad this little fellow made it.
