Snake Years
So I thought this would be a fun thread to do.
Post up your snake years. This is how it works if you aren't sure what they are.
They are how many years you've owned snakes for added up. Kind of straight forward but here are two examples.
If you've owned 2 snakes for 12 years then you'd have 24 snake years.
If you've owned 4 snakes for 3 months that would give you 1 year.
You add them all up individually. I'll post mine after this thread starts rolling.

Re: Snake Years
I've owned 2 snakes for 8 years, so that's 16 snake years
I've owned one snake for 5 years, so that's 5 snake years
i've owned 5 snakes for 4 years, so 20 snake years there
And last but not least 16 snakes for 1 year, so 16 snake years .
Okay, so the grand total of snake years for all my animals, 57 snake years.
I think i did that right

I'm in a similar situation except I took a few years break from snake keeping. The first time I had more snakes in and out due to rescues and helping to rehome some.
If I count the 5 main ones I had....
1 ball python for 10 years
1-redtail for 2 years
1-redtail for 5 years
1-burmese python for 1.5 years
1-king snake for 6 years (this one I would have kept longer but a friend fell in love with him and kept asking for him so I finally gave him to my friend for a birthday present)
First time keeping is total 14.5 years
This go around:
4 snakes for 1 year and 3 months: total 5 years
2 snakes for 1 year each: total 2 years
3 snakes for 8 months each: total 2 years
1 snake for 7 months
Current total: 9.7 years
Cumulative total: 24.2 years...I think. I suck at math lol

Re: Snake Years
Let's see...
I've had Valentine coming up on 2 years (About 1 year and 9 months),
I've had Romeo coming up on 5 months
And i've had Ashanti coming up on 2 months.
So I'm still a newbie. 2 years and 4 months,
