Re: Decision's, Decision's, Decision's

Aaron

I have only seen pictures of both, and the fangs on the GTP looks far more evil than those on the Emerald!!

But having never seen either in person, I can't say for sure, all I know, is when I saw the fangs on the GTP, I thought to myself, "well I sure don't want THAT to miss at feeding time!!"

Keep in mind that although I have tackled Emu's for vaccinations and tagging, have had my hand ripped open by an injured dog, my arm rent to pieces by an injured and peed off cat, and a Macaw who decided he DID not want me to trim his wings, I still cringe at snakes with actual fangs......call me crazy!!

Ask the experts, but if I remember correctly, one of the types of carpets have a head wobble like a stargazer corn or spider ball

A small percentage of carpets with the jag gene have head wobble. Not all of any one kind. Not by a long shot.

To the op. get the carpet. You will not be sorry. Best snakes for pets imho.

I try to pop in and -attempt- to be smart every so often...

To me the teeth on the emerald's are a lot bigger.. I'd rather be bitten by the GTP.

LOL, after my vet tech years, and how many times I've been bitten, scratched, punctured and kicked, I would rather not be bitten at all.....other than from my corns, that's like getting an itty bitty paper cut!!
