Re: Littlefoot & Cera (Savannah Monitors)

As long as you can give them the overall humidity I think the fresh air would do wonders for their health.

I do open the door about 5 times a day, so I can tend to the plants, replenish the bugs and worms, etc..

Re: Littlefoot & Cera (Savannah Monitors)

I moved the heater to the front and the window stopped fogging up.

I wonder (since I know you'd prefer having the heat back where it was so you would not have to see it) if having some vents above and/or below the window would take care the fogging problem?

Have not had any fogging in a while. It was too humid in there.

Heck, with the weather we have been getting lately, I had to shut off some of the lights in there during the day to help keep the temps inside the cage within acceptable range.

I just now pointed my temp gun at the window sill and got a reading of 120 (F)

Days like this I wish they were a little bigger so I could take them outside.

Re: Littlefoot & Cera (Savannah Monitors)

yeah, but now I have a big radiant heater in front of my cage where I can see it, instead of neatly hidden behind it.

They're looking good Wayne. Has LF gained more confidence lately?
