Getting ready for Littlefoot..Day 2. (more pics)
So I went out back, raked up some leaves, scooped up more clay, did some wiring, gathered up some drain pipe, and have been keeping busy getting things set up for Tuesday when Littlefoot moves in.
I installed a 4 foot UVB light, the frame is from an aquarium light hood, so the humidity will not hurt it, I also used a cord from a Christmas light string with the tiny fuse in the plug so that if anything goes wrong the fuse will blow quickly...
I also installed two other lights, removing one of the basking lamps for now, since I will not need so much basking area for a while.

Re: Getting ready for Littlefoot..
Having something positive to look forward to is great....
I still have a lot more work to do.
I have to climb back in the cage with my power sander.

Re: Getting ready for Littlefoot..
I just got done playing two real Chippy hockey games and thought I was in a good mood. After seeing this it just doesn't compare!!!
One suggestion/ question. Shouldn't that power outlet be gfi because of all the moisture?

You mean this here thing i am installing in the wall behind the enclosure?? By keeping the GFI out of the enclosure, it will not trip unnecessarily.
While I am at it, first coat of the sealer I am using. The exposed wood (Non treated plywood) started growing mold on it, so I sanded off all the mold, and am sealing it. I will be using about 4 coats of it, I have 3 days for it to dry, and it's acrylic based, so non toxic.
