Appreciation Thread

As with a couple of others on here i have lost my social life to illness and disability, this site more than replaces all the things i "lost".

Friendly folk, heated (but friendly mostly) debate, love of reptiles and a place to air my most personal fears in a supportive manner - i couldn't ask for more!!

I would like to include that when I first joined it was just "another forum" and it was very shortly after when Jason (Boots) sent me an email asking if I would mod here.

I gladly accepted, not so much because the people needed a moderator, but to keep the spam off the board & get the new member posts accepted rapidly.

On the day he announced that I was the mod, everyone welcomed me with open arms, it was awesome.

I wouldn't trade modding this group for anything.....

This forum has truly become a second home for me. Everyone has been extremely gracious, kind, helpful, and welcoming. I sincerely have not felt the kind of warm, cozy atmosphere that i feel here on Ssnakes on any other forum i've been on. To me, when i'm on here, it's like i'm wrapped up in a nice, fuzzy warm blanket

Thank you Ssnakes for allowing me to be a member of this truly wonderful reptile family, i mean this from the bottom of my heart
