rat babies!
This girl does a great job, shes got about 15 babies in there (the litter of 2 mothers) and shes a first time mother. The other mother wanted nothing to do with the babies.

She's an extremely good mommy.. She's taking care of 15 babies... 9 of which are the other mothers.. She's exhausted but she's still there, still over them protective as can be.

I like rats when they're pinkies and fuzzies, and when they're young and adults. But I can't STAND weaned rat pups. They're so gutsy and fearless and I really don't like it  Once they're over that phase I'm OK again

As long as she keeps pumping out babies I'm fine. Gona feed her to a snake eventually, but for now, as long as I have a second mom with babies that can take over I'm happy.
