Re: giant african land snail/red tail boa?
I wouldn't because they can carry and transmit parasites. Check out the warning about them on the CDC website:
CDC - Angiostrongylus - General Information - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

lol NP. Nothing wrong with having ideas and asking questions. It's the only way we learn.

Re: giant african land snail/red tail boa?
Technically illegal to own in Canada & totally illegal in many countries of the world.
Treated as an invasive pest species & huge fines for possession in many countries.
That said the one(s) in the pic are example of huge specimens not commonly that large.
Thats a small hand & the way the picture is taken to make it look as big as possible.
I used to have various snails as pets, Mark

very doubtful the snail is making judgement calls like that. Trust me I'm an animal mind reader.
My ball python is thinking "i hope they don't find me under here"
My carpet is thinking "i hope a mouse walks under me"
The snail is thinking "................"

Wow, that is one cool looking snail. Those shells are so interesting. Can you imagine the snail trail that one leaves!
