Re: Morelia i keep
I see you have a jag and a bredl /jag. I've heard rumors about introducing bredl genetics into the jag gene to strengthen it to someday maybe produce healthy leucistics. Is this your plan?

0.1 Bredli, 0.1 Jungle, 0.1 75% Diamond x 25% Jungle, 0.1 Coastal Jaguar, and 1.0 Jungle x Jaguar. I need another male.
I been checking out some really nice Irain Jaya Jaguars. They got some amazing red to them. I was thinking a nice one of this put with my Bredli should turn out some super Jags.

Re: Morelia i keep
Indeed that's true but honestly i dont think there is any remedy for the Jag gene in the leucistic sense... i also doubt it would make any difference what other genetics are in the mix.. but people will continue to try and maybe someone some where will come up with an answer to it .. i would love to see one survive and i am still pretty much sat on the fence to whether i would ever try a jag to jag pairing as i think it would be pretty heavy seeing them die shortly after pipping.

Re: Morelia i keep
looking good as always chris
my favorites being esmerelda, the carmel coastal and the diamond bredl
with a bit of luck i may have another female diamond coming from olli in the new year
mean time i'm trying to sell what i no longer have a purpose for to help fund it and free up some space
you got a great morelia collection mate and you live so close
i'm thinking at some point we will loan out males to each other for breeding projects ?
if i am successfull in breeding the diamonds then it goes without saying, you will get the cheapest pair of diamonds ever sold in the uk mate (its the least i can do,after all the transportation help you and your good wife have given me over the years)
cheers shaun

Re: Morelia i keep
Nice Chris
Bertha is gorgeous and I'm impressed to see how good the diamond x bredl looks...I've only ever seen juvies and hatchlings and they don't look to good
The caramel is colouring up very nicely...is that from terry or did you breed yourself?
