Profile: Prometheus
This week Living Gems Reptiles profiles one of its juvenile animals, Prometheus. Prometheus is a September 2009 male. He is a cool little dude, with vivid color and a friendly personality. As of March 2011, he weighed 494 grams (making him one of my lightest 2009s).
Here he is in a sequence of three shots under different lighting, all taken in March 2011:
Inside, No Flash
Inside, Flash
Outside (being shy)
Thank you for reading,

Re: Profile: Prometheus
Beautiful BRB. I like how the how his color fade as it goes down. Almost like the white wash effect. Very stunning Orange on this guy.

Re: Profile: Prometheus
Thanks Stephan, we really try to get the best!
Marvel, Prometheus does indeed have some some really intense orange -- we got lucky on this one!
Ninja, sorry...I am indeed lost. O.O

Re: Profile: Prometheus
As always, very nice, Cliff! He looks a little shy, though, trying to hide his head in the blanket!

Re: Profile: Prometheus
Thanks everyone!
Shaun, they are all accurate for color -- in their respective lighting situations. I don't have him outside often, so that particular look is one I rarely see. The others are more common.
Ed, he was indeed being a shy boy that day. Not sure if it was the moving around or the camera, he's usually pretty calm.
Thanks Kayla, we like the name too. After all, his job is to bring some fire to our lineup.... ;-)
