A progression thread of a different kind...

Well 1st off, i was going to put this in the "enclosure" area... since it is a type of enclosure... lol

my fiancée and my self just got our 1st house... it is defiantly a "fix-ER-upper". Her dad owns a rental house and we got it from him.

We are completely cleaning out the inside, washing walls, repainting, and doing some remodeling of our own, and me being the photo **** that i am, i took over 60 pics of it so far, i will just however start off with a few, seeing how i have to go to work tomorrow...

Here are a few pics from when we 1st started ( Wed. 5/2/11)

AS YOU SEE.... there were some bad spots on the wall, that i filled with puddy and sanded out to make it smooth.

Was that a vine growing through the wall or something you placed there?

It is a thing that is used to hold curtains to the side.. (its gone now) everything is....

haha thanks, it dried up after a day

, but that is where i park my car.. lol so its a pain in the butt.

UPDATE:
we just finished up the 2nd coat on the brown to white trim in our bedroom. i wont show pics of ofther trim because its white being repainted...

this weekend wont be dong much so more pics will probably be here next week

its a great lil 2 bedroom 1 bath house, with a basement, (floods horribly.. terrible town for flooding..) its going to be ours for about 10 yrs. give or take

I love that style of house - we see them on TV all the time and always say how nice they look. Love the idea of a veranda to sit out on as well as a house that isnt just boring red bricks

i think i just seen what you were really talking about, that is a big plant thing.. it was hung up by the window...
