Re: My Yellow Anaconda
if you going to feed it feeder fish i recomend getting a small tank and breeding the fish yourself, unless the fish store you get them from keeps their feeder tank Super clean. mind you feeders dont have much nutrients unless is different when snakes eat them, i know for my old oscar fish i said dont feed them feeder unless its a rare treat as its like us eating potato chips lol

Re: My Yellow Anaconda
Hey Chuck, you got some place to take it swimming when it gets big?
I know of a guy on Kingsnake that jumps in the swimming pool and hangs out with his yellow.
(Before anyone else asks, Anaconda are very aquatic. Their eyes are situated higher up on their head so they can lay in the water and grab birds that get close enough to eat.)

Re: My Yellow Anaconda
Yeah i seen one another site a guy who takes his two green outside in the back yard and let them swim in a kid pool. For now he got a big water bowl. When he get bigger will get move to a bigger cage with a huge bowl. (his water get change at least twice a day.) Plus i will let him swim in the bath tub or put a kiddy pool in the basement. When he hit Adult size 6 to 7 feet Iam going to make him a cage with a landscaping pond in the bottom on one side. I made one years ago for my jungle with a 2 1/2 by 2 foot pond. When we moved cage was so big it fell apart under its own weight in the move. It was a little top heavy. I would let him swim in my youngest pool, but it big enough 3'x12' you have to use chemicals to keep it clean.
P.S. does any one Know what het Albino Arg X is?

I don't think this was answered and the only explanation for it would be that the bag was originally used for a het albino Argentine boa cross. That's the best guess I could give for what Arg X means.

Thanks! After doing some reach that's what i was think.
Yesterday he soak in his water bowl for almost 6 hours. Longest i seen him in there. Came home from work this morning to find a perfect first shed. I couldn't even tell he was in shed. Never looked blue or anything.

LMAO Same girth or more of a adult blood plus twice as long = twice the size piles of poo. puke.gif Lucky me. lol It well worth it to have one of this beautiful animals. Trying to talk the miss into getting a female next year and breed them in about 4 years. The only thing keeping her from saying yes is if we can't sell them we'll be stuck with a bunch of anacondas. I don't see a down side outside of more giant piles of poo to clean up. Cool thing is in saying no to breeding yellow she now talking about getting a female BRB to breed with my male BRB and a Diamond or Jag to breed with my Diamond x Jungle. She slowly starting to warm up to my snakes.
