Talking It's Angie

Hello everyone. I'm sure some of you know me by now...lol, and some don't like me already but hopefully that will change. I wasn't sure if I wanted to write here because my first day or 2 were not all that pleasant. Very informaive though. I guess I'm going to stay because I will likely always have questions and I figure I might as well tough it out. I am from a small town clost to London, Ontario called St. Thomas. I have 3 ball pythons as far as snakes goes. Along with that I have a 5 yera old iguana, a cat, various number of rats (for feeding not pets), 4 fish tanks with various fish, a newt, and a crayfish. In the summer we always try and keep turtles in the pond (oh and a pond with some fish) but they always seem to run away I think I got them all. Me and my boyfriend together have 4 kids, which is insane on the weekends we have all 4 but somehow we manage without being driven to insanity...lol. I am a stay at home mom right now, and I orefer it to be like that, I'm just not ready to give my son to someone else to watch all day. Not sure what else to say. I'm sure I will talk to some of you later

I lived in London for a few years. I went to Fanshawe college so I know where you're from and the area. Do you have any pet stores there in St. Thomas or do you have to drive to London for feeders and such?

Re: It's Angie

There is one pet store that usually has mice but rats are hard to find in the right size. I suppose I could always call them and see when they usually get new shipments. I have a few rats right now and are just hoping that they will breed for me soon...had them for almost 2 months now and nothing yet My mother-in-law said she caught a mouse in the live trap and asked me if I wanted her to put it in the freezer to kill it for the snakes...LOL!!!! I obviously said no. See I can be intelligent at times

You can look online and ship in frozen foods. Try South Western Pet Centre on the east side of London. They should have rats for you at most times.

Re: It's Angie

Hey Angie, welcome! Nice to see more Canadians on here. I have an iguana as well, used to have two, they are great reptiles to work with (err..mostly). I love this forum, and it has lots of good information, glad to see that you're sticking around.
Good luck with your BPS!

Re: It's Angie

Hey if you can't find any frozen rats that you can have shipped i have a breeder who i get all of my stuff from and im sure he would cut u a deal that would beat anyone's price. his website is dkreptilesales.com he is awesome and his prices on his website are not always right they are usually lower.

Re: It's Angie

wow guess that pic proves why babies (not your daughter but the baby doll) should not be around snakes. lol
