I hadn't viewed this thread for the past few days and didn't realize that the photo had upset people. I've removed it and provided a link as suggested.
Sorry,
Cam

No worries Cam. It wasn't really upsetting that you posted the picture at all, I too think people should see what can happen, it was just unexpected and I think it caught alot of people off guard.
But thanks for your apology and thoughtfulness by changing it to a link, it's appreciated. Have a good one.
Craig

I for one had no problem at all with the pic Cam. It very quickly illustrates the point that people are trying to make when they say feeding live can be dangerous. I really think a lot of people pooh-pooh it thinking the rodent will get one good nip in and it'll be a cut or something...
Snakes don't have nervous systems like we do... hence why balls and other snakes can seriously burn themselves on exposed lightbulbs and uncontrolled UTH's

Cam lol you didnt have too do that The shock value was part of the effectiveness of it. Wow. I was mostly teasing about the breakfast thing. After a few minutes I still ate the rest of the eggs anyways
It indeed does make the point!

Cam:
After thinking about it for a while, I agree with Art, the shock value WAS the effectiveness of it. I agreed the whole time that everyone needs to see what can happen, but I thought a link with a warning would have been more tasteful, but I'm now having second thoughts on it. I think that leaving the picture up was much more effective too, as most people don't bother with the links anyways. So my new vote is- Put it back up! Sorry for my indesiciveness, it just took some other views and thinking for me to realize that that was the best way to show people what can happen. Then they have no choice but to see it.
Once again sorry for my indecisiveness.
Craig

Of course I can put it back up; and if you like I can take it down again; but it can always go back up... So which is it?
