My female south baja just puked. I always feed mine once every 7 days and never more than one item at a time. I think her cage was too warm. I'm weighting a full 7 days before trying her again.
Cheers,
Trevor

Gah! Not a great selling point, eh? I am very cautious with my girl and I can only rely on trial and error, I am hoping there will be no error. I think temps, humidity, and stress are the three causes of regurgitation in this genus and they can't handle much of a variance outside of their optimal range.
Right now, since I have had my Rosy for less than a week, I am just keeping my fingers crossed and I will rectify any situation should it present itself.
You're definitely right on the money in waiting a week before trying again. Roy mentions that the syndrome starts because people try to feed to soon. Regurgitation is hard on the animal, not just in terms of energy expenditure (i.e. production of acids and other constituents required for digestion, and then losing them), but there's also the possibility of gastrointestinal tears and esophagitis that need time to heal. If the snake has a good weight to her then there's nothing wrong with waiting a good length of time to allow her to recover, this will increase the likelihood of her keeping it down next time, and thus, the syndrome will have been averted.
Best of luck,
Ryan

She had eaten about three times with me before this happened so it's not like she was just getting started. When I do offer her food again it will be the smallest pinky I can find. I may cut off all the legs and tail too.
Cheers,
Trevor

Wow Ryan! She's gorgeous, and quite a ham for the camera too!

Thanks Erin! I think if she had eyelids she would be winking in that last pic from the first post
