Baird's Ratsnake
You don't see too many of these around, and I'm not too sure why, they are quite colourful as adults. I suppose it is because they are so bland as babies. Anyways, the quality of this shot sucks, I admit, but as you can see, my bairdi is a very nice example of a ratsnake (tee hee) I call him Zuckerman, and he's got a great temperament, and what a feeding response! I got him as an adult, from a store that was keeping him on sand with a single waterbowl no hide and not enough space, really quite disgusting.

He looks curious and funny sweet snake
I agree most of the snakes in petshop doesnt have really great tanks.. I know that most of them wont stay too long in there..
I dont like to go to petshops because they are looking at you and tells you hey look at me, look where I live, BUY ME !!! And the price is so high in these places... :/

I've got one myself, a two year old male from Tonetti stock. Would I ever like to pair that one up. Baird's rats are definitely underrated snakes -- just as good as corn snakes, if you ask me.
This reminds me that I haven't taken a picture of him in a while.
