your spending on herps? $$$???
Today i relized i was spending alot of money on herps and herp supplies.
i have a ball python, corn, IJ carpet, Savannah monitor, red tail boa.
i have a couple of 30 gallons and a 40 gallon tanks all with heating pads.
i culculated it and this years spending till this day is $1200
damn!

Haha this past MONTH I've spent 500$ on my herps...I know how you feel, but it's worth it

lol well i havent set down and calculated everything up but i would say i have spent $800 on everything encluding food... and im about to make some cages for when my snakes get older...

this yeah i have speant... around the $2500 aussie dollar mark, thats alot for a 15 year old on $8.5 an hour!

this is a good thread....I really have to look at myself....
last year I have spend more than 20,000 on just herps and this year I have spend at least 10,000 on them again....so just on herps within two years time I have spend at least 30,000 CDN on them....
this is not even including the feeding, heating, heat pads, cages (tanks/tubs), or even the rack systems.....I think with all those together I have spend yet another $6,000 plus.....geeze.....
but the good thing is that I have 1 full time job, 2 part time job and that I own a business in China.....phew.....but still....spending way too much....need to sell some just to get a fraction back.....hahha

-Oh geez...the majority of my income goes towards my herps... I don't even want to try to calculate what I spend on herps. Nothing good can come of it..... lol I spend way too much and not enough

We spend alot. food for the rats, caging for the rats, cages for the snakes, the heat, lights etc, plus the snakes themselves...

I only own two, and I just recently got my second bp, so all together, since july, I've spent about $400. I don't pay for electricity or water, though, so I think that helps.

lets see.. 3 leos: 70$, albino leo 55$ (cause shipping costs so much) blizzard leo: 50$, 15 gallon: 30$, 2x 10 gallon: 20$, log: 8$, tops to the cages: 30$, 3x heat lamp: 15$, 3x $2 every 1000hrs for bulbs, 6-9$ a week for crix.. think it's been 17 weeks of herp owning for me. $383 total.. wow, that's nothing compared to u guys. absolutely nothing. i need to rethink my life lol. buy more herps! oh i plan on getting a crested w/ an exquisit tank.. that'll be bout 200$ total to add to that maybe.

I just recently spent $400USD on a 6 month feeding supply, so I go close to $1000 a year without any new animals or housing
