I have to give her a list of snakes i want with caresheets attached to all of them.... my mom is pretty good with the snakes i can have, species wise. im only allowed 8 snakes. Here is my list and tell me wut u think

Male Burmese
Male Green Anaconda
Female Yellow anaconda
Female Blood Python
Grey Banded Kingsnake
Tiger Ratsnake
Pueblan Milksnake

I also think i could get away with some smaller snakes if she doesnt know!!!

Bloods rule! Get all Bloods and you'll have baby bloods and making money in a few years!! LOL I'm just really syked about getting my first baby Black Blood, thats all. I plan on making a nice sized collection of these guys.

I'm not really a big fan of Huge snakes so I prefer to go with the smaller species.

Its nice that your are looking to get an assorment of snakes, but try and get something you might get babies out of. I don't think that many people get into the hobby and Not think about breeding their snakes @ one point or another.

Just a thought of mind, maybe it will help with your decision. I am pretty sure that when your snakes get larger, your gonna think, "Man I wish I had gotten a male, I really want to breed her."

Best wishes,

Lu

well.... i already have the yellow anaconda and i already have the black pine..... im getting rid of my other snakes. I wanted to star off with all the easier snakes. I just got rid of my 2 ball pythons.... western hognose..... and im still tryin to get rid of my cal. king and 4 cornsnakes..... i hav bred snakes and ill probably start breeding kenyans and rosy... but i consider those breeding projects. As far as my collection i wanna stick to those snakes. I love big snakes... i find it very fufilling to care 4 them. i wanna move on to more rare and advanced snakes...to widen my horizons... if u hav any other suggestions as far as my collection goes any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi folks,

there are many snakes that iīd like to keep, too. But at i have experienced problems caring for many snakes, especially when they belong to different species with different needs in keeping. I support your point of view now, concentrating on advanced, more rare snakes instead of breeding thousands of Corns. Iīm trying to get rid of my Corns right now, because iīll concentrate on my tiger-rats. More intense care will support breeding activity, i hope. Iīve been to careless with my pets the last months, and i have to do something about that. The snakes deserve best care and not just to be kept. Itīs not the number of snakes, itīs the fascination of certain species to be fucused on.

Happy herping,
Pitviper

And that there is the essence of our hobby.
